Challenge
This project was a conversion of empty shell space in St. Elizabeth Hospital’s, now Our Lady of the Lake Acesnsion's, Medical Office Building in Prairieville, LA. This is one of the many STEP-IN Clinics (walk-in clinics) St. Elizabeth Hospital has throughout the community. Due to most of these spaces being renovations in existing facilities, it was important to the client that efficiency and professionalism be the driving factors in these designs.
Solution
We designed clean, streamline interiors that are both inviting and professional while creating a functional, no-frills layout, which consists of six exam rooms, a large, centralized nurses’ station, two doctor stations, and a twenty-five person waiting room.
